KATHUA, Feb 11: Chhoona Hai Aasman Season-3 launched by J&K Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP) was organized by District Police Kathua at District Police Lines, here today.
A total of 13 institutes both Government and Private participated in the event and 56 students competed with each other in four categories.
Banshika Sharma of MSK Higher Secondary School Rajbagh and Bandana Devi of Government High School, Jarai stood first and second in Junior female category respectively, while Shivam and Rohit Kumar, both from DAV School, Kathua claimed first and second spot in the Junior male category respectively.
Meanwhile, Jaspreet Kour of MSK Higher Secondary School Rajbagh and Prabhjot Kour of GGSS Kathua bagged first and second position in Senior female category, while Nitesh Kumar of ANMT College Kathua and Vikram of DAV School Kathua stood first and second in Senior male category respectively.
ZN Manhas Additional SP Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion, while Daljeet Singh DySP Hqrs Kathua, DySP Karanjeet Singh and number of teachers and students were also present on the occasion.
DySP DAR, Rohit Baskotra threw light on the objectives of the programme, while Surjeet Mahajan, Satish Singh Jasrotia and Pankaj Kumar were adjudicators of the event.
Music during the event was given by police team headed by ASI Des Raj. Gifts and certificates were distributed the winners on the occasion.
