SRINAGAR, Nov 6: Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah today asked youth to participate in sports activities besides taking keen interest in their studies.
Mr. Shah was presiding over a candle light ceremony of Kashmir Gold Cup (Taekwondo) – 2013 going to be held from November 15 to 18, November, 2013 this month at Indoor Stadium, Srinagar, Kashmir.
The ceremony was attended by a good number of national and international past and present players of Taekwon-Do and Hockey.
Mr. Shah hoped that more than 600 players will exhibit their talent during said event.
Organizing Secretary, J&K National Sports Club announced the programme for organizing the Kashmir Gold Cup Taekwondo 2013 on the occasion.
