SRINAGAR, Feb 10: The Kashmir Division Strength Lifting Championship will be held on February 26, 2025.
The event will bring together top strength lifters from across the Kashmir region, offering them an opportunity to compete at a high level and gain recognition. It also serves as a platform to promote unity, peace, and community engagement through sports.
Anis Choudhary, Senior Vice President of JKSLA, emphasized, “We believe sports have the power to transform lives, build confidence, and guide the youth toward a positive future. This championship is an important step in building a strong sporting culture in Kashmir.”
The event is being organized by a team of dedicated individuals, including Mohammad Maqbool Zargar, N A Maqdoomi, Manzoor Ahmad Ahanger, Manzoor Ahmad Alaqbandi, Bashir Ahmad Shaikh, Gh. Mohammad Ahanger, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Nasir Ahmad Ganie and JP Singh.
