SAMBA, Dec 24: Kabaddi tournament was organized by Ramgarh Border Sports Association at Nandpur in Ramgarh area of district Samba.
Today on Thursday final match was played between Nandpur and Chimna Chack in which the winner trophy was lifted by Chimna Chack by beating Nandpur by 23 points (46-23).
Former Minister and State Senior vice president of National Conference, Surjit Singh Slathia was chief guest while Commander 92 Inf. Brigade, Yash Paul Singh was the guest of honour. The tournament was organised by Sarpanch Mohan Singh Bhatti, Convener Ramgarh Sports Association.
Mr Slathia distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up teams.
Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on the need to organise more and more tournaments for the bright future of the youth.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sarpanches Darshan Singh, Om Prakash and Janak Raj.
