JU’s team leaves for participation in Kickboxing tourney

JAMMU, Apr 18: Kickboxing team of University of Jammu left for participation in All India University Kickboxing Tournament, scheduled to be held at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia University Ayodhya (UP) from April 20 to 23.
A total 17 players were selected for the upcoming tournament by conducting trials, followed by a training camp was also conducted at Jammu University under the chief supervision of Directorate of Sports Jammu University Dr Daud Iqbal in collaboration with Kickboxing Association J&K.
The camp was conducted by Danish Padha, International Kickboxing referee and National coach with the help of Jai Bharat and Harsimran Singh.
Team: Deepak Sharma, Mohd. Arif, Dheeraj Partap, Naresh Kumar, Aman Dubery, Nitin Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Shail Chib, Sahil Ali, Vikas Sharma, Aman Bhou, Bakshi Chanakya, Harsh Dev Singh, Aman Sharma, Arjun Singh Kotwal , Jafar Iqbal and Snehal Sudan.
