Judo Association holds meet, Rachpal elected president

JAMMU, July 21: In its Annual General Body Meeting held today, Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association elected its new office bearers for a period of four years, here.
Vijay Saraf was nominated as the patron-in-chief, while Thakur Rachpal Singh was elected as the president of the Association. Kuldeep Singh Jamwal was elected as the working president, while Dr Ashutosh Sharma was elected as senior vice president. Varinder Dogra and Abdul Hamid Khan will be the vice presidents of Jammu and Kashmir respectively.
Vikas Gupta was elected general secretary of the Association, while RC Thakur and Rahil Gupta were elected treasurer and resident secretary respectively.
Rameshwar Singh Jamwal and Dev Raj were elected organizing secretaries of Jammu and Kashmir provinces respectively. Gowhar Khan and Shiv Kumar will be the joint secretaries of Kashmir and Jammu respectively, while Dr Sandeep Singh was nominated as chairman medical commission and Suraj Bhan Singh as chairman technical committee.
Arshi Nad, Vikas Dogra, Shafat Shafi, Ritika Slathia, Jugal Kishore and Shakti Gupta were named vice chairmen technical committees.
The executive members included Rajan Sharma, SS Gill, Dr Nirmolak Singh, Sunil Sharma, Madan Mohan, Baldev Raj, Suraj Sharma, Raj Kumar, Sandeep Gupta, Raveez Joo, Ravi Salotra, Ravi Gupta, Krishan Lal Sharma,Tanvir Ahmed, Manish Chatwal, Sharat Chander and Tull Ahmed.
