JRA Cricket Academy registers thrilling 87 runs win over Jammu XI

*Kumar Aryan adjudged as ‘Man of the Match’

JAMMU, June 29: Splendid inning of 136 runs by Kumar Aryan guided JRA Cricket Academy Jalandhar to register a thrilling 87 runs win over Jammu XI in the ongoing Jammu Budding T-20 Cricket Tournament for U-16 players, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club, at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, JRA Cricket Academy scored 203 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 25 overs. Kumar Aryan chipped in some crispy shots and scored 136 runs, while Sivansh and Rishav Bajaj made 24 and 20 runs respectively.
From Jammu XI side, Aarav Mahajan scalped the two important wickets.
In the second inning, Jammu XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at 116 runs for all out in 23.5 overs. Devesh and Mehul scored 21 runs each, while Aarav Mahajan made 17 runs.
From JRA Cricket Academy Jalandhar side, Ronak and Gopi scalped 2 wickets each, while Lovish, Vishav and Andy took one wicket apiece.
Kumar Aryan of JRA Cricket Academy Jalandhar was adjudged as Man of the Match for his magnificent batting performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda maintained the scoreboard.
