JPPF distributes uniforms to hockey players

JAMMU, Apr 2: Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF), distributed uniforms to the hockey players who were economically weak.
A team of JPPF headed by Pavitar Singh Retd. Sessions Judge along with other members met the hockey players at K.K. Haku Stadium who are not financial by sound but have interest in sports were given the uniforms.
Pavitar Singh while interacting with players said that despite of hardships you are keenly playing this game which it is a matter of pride for us and in this regard JPPF will extent every possible help to the poor sports loving persons to excel in the field of their choice.
Veena Chib, Coach of Hockey Team apprised the members of JPPF regarding achievements as well as difficulties of the players. She also said that a hockey club is in offing and will be launched shortly for which the team JPPF whole heartedly accepted the proposal to promote and help players so as to fetch name and fame to the State of Jammu and Kashmir in general and Jammu in particular.
Among others present were M.S.Katoch, Inderjeet Khajuria, Avinash Bhatia, M.L Sharma, Suneeta Sharma, P.R Salathia, R.L.Tandon, Ram Nath Shastri, Rajinder Singh and Rajinder Gupta.
