Jodhamal student selects for Silicon Valley Code of Honour

JAMMU, Sept 3: Harmanjot Singh, a class 8th student of Jodhamal Public School has been selected for the Silicon Valley Code of Honour organised by White Hat Organization, based in San Francisco California, USA for developing a computer programming languages “RAKSHA” a Women Safety App.
More than 1700 applicants from all over the world had participated with their computer programming languages wherein the best 30 Apps were selected for Silicon Valley Code of Honour. Harmanjot Singh was among few students from the Asia to get this honour.
Google has recently released this App in Google play store for free.
Earlier, Harmanjot Singh had secured 1st international rank in SOF National Cyber Olympiad 2019-20 for which he had won a Gold medal along with cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
