JAMMU, May 29: Jodhamal Public School lifted the Inter-School Cricket Tournament Trophy which was organized by Colonel RN Chopra Academy at RRL School ground, here.
In the final played today, Jodhamal defeated Combined School XI by 8 wickets.
Earlier, batting first, Combined School was bowled-out for a paltry 65 runs in 15 overs. From Jodhamal, Parth Jain and Abhishek Abrol shared 2 wickets each.
Later, Jodhamal chased the total in 12 overs making 66 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Lioneerjeet Singh made unbeaten 32 runs, followed by Aryan Sehgal, who added unbeaten 12 runs. Parth Jain of Jodhamal team was named man of the match, while man of the tournament trophy went to Aditya Chib of Combined School XI.
Best bowler trophy was bagged Hameem Rathore of Jodhamal, while best fielder award went to Hrithik Sharma of RRL School.
The team members included Jagateshwar Singh, Lionerjeet Singh, Ayush Verma, Kanaiya Sharma, Arya Abrol, Veerain Chib, Manav Manhas, Nalin Kamal, Shabab Alam, Anayat-Ur-Rehman, Abhishek Abrol, Danvish, Ananya Sharma, Paarth Jain, Hameen Rathore and Drishtant Mahajan.
Dr Bedi of Indian Institute of Integrated Medicine (IIIM) was chief guest on the valedictory function.
