Jodhamal Public School emerges overall winner

JAMMU, Dec 4: Jodhamal Public School emerged overall winner in the Inter School District Level Matsogi Do Competition organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports at MA Stadium here today.
In under 14 boys, Jodhamal Public School and Army Public School Kaluchack emerged winners, whereas in Under 14 girls, Jodhamal Public School and Army Public School Nagrota bagged gold and silver medals respectively.
In Under 17 girls, Cybernatics School Kunjwani claimed silver medal, whereas in under 17 boys, Jodhamal Public School and Army Public School Kaluchack claimed gold and silver medals respectively.
In under 19 boys, Army Public School Kaluchack and Stephen International School claimed gold and silver medals respectively.
On valedictory function, Navin Aggarwal, DG Sports distributed prizes among the winners and runner-ups in presence of Ved Parkash, Deputy Director, Department of Youth Services and Sports and Tirth Ram, District Youth Services and Sports Officer.
Navin Aggarwal, DG Sports while speaking said that sports plays an importance role in developing mental and physical growth of an individual.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Ved Parkash, Deputy Director, Department of Youth Services and Sports, whereas Tirth Ram, District Youth Services and Sports Officer presented vote of thanks.
