JAMMU, Aug 7: Jodhamal Public School conducted 2nd edition of ‘INQUIZITIVE’ wherein various schools from the countries including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bangladesh as well as India participated.
During the event, India’s top prestigious schools including Modern School Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, Sanskriti School New Delhi, The Scindia School Gwalior, Sri Jain International School, Aurangabad and Welham’s School Dehradun fought the battle of brains for the top honours.
The quiz was a mind-boggling one with a total of 20 questions on international current affairs. In the fastest reply format, the participants gave each other a neck to neck competition. The quiz master Sanjay Pandey who has the distinction of mentoring young quizzers and of conducting quizzes at almost all the levels conducted the quiz.
The students Rahul Pandey and Shreyansh Krishna from Modern School Barakhamba Road New Delhi emerged as winners of the quiz and won a cash prize of Rs 25,000, whereas Jodhamal Public School stood 2nd with Naunidh Singh and Lakshav Singh Sambyal won Rs 15000 cash prize and the third prize was bagged by Sanskrit School, New Delhi with its students Divyansh Shah and Asmit Kumar gave a tough fight to other participants and bagged a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
Speaking on the occasion, Zakir Hussain, one of the mentors from Robertson High School Bangladesh emphasized on the conduction of such exciting events for the enhancement of mutual exchange of ideas and culture.
The trustee of Jodhamal Public School, Nandan Kuthiala along with the Principal Dr Deep Khare congratulated the winning teams and encouraged the efforts put by the quizmaster Sanjay Pandey and the senior CCA coordinator Mubeen Butt for their execution of the program.
