JMC Commissioner, SP North address webinar

Jammu, Sept 2: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua today organised a webinar on the topic ‘Raise your Voice:’ Women Safety and Empowerment.’
The guest speakers for the event were Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation and PD Nitiya, SP North zone. They enlightened the masses for raising their voices against any crime and emphasised on women being aware of their rights and creating a sexual harassment committee in all institutions whether be organised institutions or unorganized.
They spoke about sensitising men as well about women safety. They discussed many laws and regulations which has been enforced by the Government for the safety of women and shared their insightful perceptives on women empowerment and encouraged all the women out there that how important it is to speak out at the first place.
Other eminent guests on the panel were Rohini Aima, Vice Chairperson, Jammu Sanskriti Schools , Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman Jammu Sanskriti Schools and Dr Kunal Anand,Principal, DPS Udhampur.
The guests speakers congratulated and lauded the efforts of Jammu Sanskriti School and Erudite Events for organising the session on a burning topic.
Mili R Sumbria, Principal JSS Kathua and Guneet Singh, Founder and President of Erudite Events extended the vote of thanks to the speakers.
Mili R Sumbria, Principal JSS Kathua further stated that a discussion of this kind is much required so as to inculcate depth amongst the future torch bearers , the youth of today who are the future of tomorrow.
