JAMMU, Dec 27: J&K Weightlifting Association (JKWA) provided a complete Weightlifting set to the administration of MAM Stadium, here today in order to enhance and uplift the skills of the youth.
The equipment facility will enable the students to compete at National and International levels and will boost the morale and confidence of the aspirants who came here for practice.
It’s important to mention here that this kind of initiative has been taken after a long gap of more than 30 years. A special inaugural ceremony of the equipments was also conducted by retired senior coach, Inderpal Singh along with Lakhwinder Gill, Dinesh Pathania, Amish Sharma and Akash Virdi.
This whole event was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Yudhvir Singh, senior office bearer of the Association.
The overall ceremony was attended by a large number of lifters, coaches and senior officials.
