JKTA celebrates Taekwondo Day

JAMMU, Sept 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) celebrated Taekwondo Day, here this evening.
According to a handout issued here 201countries celebrate this Day though out the world with a purpose to make the whole world aware about Taekwondo.
On this Occasion, chairman J&K Taekwondo Association, Anil Gupta, was the chief guest.
Over 150 Taekwondo athletes and officials participated in this event and the players from various Clubs and Districts performed on the occasion and presented Special Demonstration made for this Day.
President, J&K Taekwondo Association, PC Sharma, presented vote of thanks and encouraged all the players for celebrating the day.
DN Pangotra, general secretary, JKTA, Rajinder Sharma, Gurinder Rakwal, Anuj Sharma were present on the occasion.
Atul Pangotra (NIS) and International player was Director of this event, while Arvind Satti, Brinder Singh and Adnan and Vikrant Narwalia Coordinated the event.
