JAMMU, Jan 15: Getting the better of their rivals in the semifinal and quarterfinal, JKPDC and J&K Forest teams sealed berth in the final and semifinal respectively in the ongoing 11th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized by All J&K Christian Welfare Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the quarterfinal match, J&K Forest defeated SRTC by six goals to four (6-4) via tie-breaker after both the teams managed to score two goals each in the stipulated time.
In another match played today, which was a semifinal, JKPDC drubbed J&K Police again by six goals to four via tie-breaker.
Earlier, in the scheduled time, both the teams managed to score one goal each (1-1), with Bilal scoring a goal for JKPDC in 40th minute and Vishal netting the equalizer for J&K Police in 80th minute.
Now, J&K Forest will take on J&K Bank in the second semifinal tomorrow and the winner of the same will lock horns with JKPDC in the title clash.
