JKP enters semis of State Hockey Championship

JAMMU, Mar 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police team blanked Poonch District by seven goals to nil (7-0) to qualify for the semifinals of the ongoing State Hockey Championship, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, here.
In another matches played today, Jammu West thrashed District Udhampur by six goals to nil (6-0) and Jammu Central got better of District Baramulla by four goals to one (4-1).
The matches were officiated by Iqbal Singh, Dalbir Mehta, Karanjit Singh, JS Reen, P Jagjeet Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Indpal Singh, MS Reen and GS Bakshi.
Now, JKP Central will take on District Kathua in the first semifinal tomorrow, while Jammu West will face Jammu Central in another semifinal on March 30, 2014.
