JAMMU, Nov 15: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) emerged overall champion in the 25th Men and 11th Women Senior J&K Wrestling Championship-2019, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association in collaboration with Jammu University, under the auspices of Wrestling Federation of India at Wrestling Hall, University of Jammu here.
The Championship was held under the banner of J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association.
Ajay Vaid, General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association, Kuldeep Mangotra, Raju Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma and a galaxy of former Wrestlers were present on the occasion.
The selected Wrestlers in this Championship will take p[art in the forthcoming 64th Men Free style, Greco Roman Style and 22nd Women Senior National Wrestling Championship to be organised by Punjab Wrestling Association at PAP Complex, Jallandhar in Punjab from November 28 to December 1, 2019.
