JAMMU, Mar 24:JKP Centre Cricket Club and Miran Sahib Cricket Club defeated their rivals convincingly to enter into the finals of the ongoing Jammu Premier League (JPL)-2 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The Tournament is being organized by Karwan-e-Hussaini, Social Welfare Society.
In the qualifying match played of Pool-B, Abrar Club defeated Wave Cricket Club by 45 runs. Batting first, Abrar Cricket Club scored a total of 135 runs. Vishu top scored with 30* runs. Amit was the pick of the bowlers for Abrar Cricket Club, who took 4 important wickets. In reply, Wave Cricket Club bundled out for 90 runs in 18 overs. Chandeep top scored with 20 runs. Charan claimed 3 wickets for Wave Cricket Club. Amit was declared as man of the match for his superb bowling display.
In semifinal match of Pool-A , JKP Centre Cricket Club defeated Miran Sahib Club by 7 wickets in an easy contest. Miran Sahib Cricket Club scored total of 83 in 17.3 overs. Jimmy scored 16 runs, while Shamsher took 3 wickets.
In reply, JKP centre Cricket Club chased down the target easily in 13.3 overs. Manzoor Ilahi top scored for JKP Centre with 39 runs, while Shamsher was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Madan Verma, Sanju and Rajinder Singh as umpires, while Ankan Sharma was the scorer.
