JAMMU, July 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has announced that it will be conducting a Scorers Clinic in Jammu and Srinagar later this month. The specific dates and venues will be communicated separately. The announcement was made through an official notice issued by Brig Anil Gupta, Member Administration JKCA.
As per notice issued by JKCA, the five-day clinic will include training sessions followed by an examination. Only those candidates who successfully clear the exam will be eligible for future scoring assignments with the JKCA. Interested candidates must be between 20 to 40 years of age, have a minimum qualification of Class 12, and possess a basic understanding of cricket. The association has stated that preference will be given to ex-cricketers.
Applications must be submitted by 6 pm on July 9, 2025, either in sealed envelopes to the JKCA offices in Jammu or Srinagar, or via email at cacjkca@gmail.com. Each application must be accompanied by educational qualification proof, valid age proof, documents supporting cricket-related knowledge or experience, and a notarized affidavit confirming the candidate’s availability for scorer duties when called upon by JKCA.
The initiative aims to strengthen the pool of professional scorers in the Union Territory and support JKCA’s efforts in enhancing cricket infrastructure and operations across the region.
