JAMMU, Nov 10: Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association (JKCA) conducted screening for 24th National Road Cycling Championship to be held at Bikaner Rajasthan from November 13 to 16, here today.
The screening was conducted under the supervision of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council, while SS Gill, Secretary J&K Cycling Association, Om Parkash Sharma, Associate Secretary and Veteran Cyclist J&K Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra, Treasurer, J&K Cycling Association were also present.
The selected cyclists in Men Elite are Mohammad Nafee Bhat, Mohammad Akbar Khan, Gurpreet Singh, Yougesh Sharma and Shazaan Farooq.
The selected cyclists in MU-23 are Waheed Ahmed Ganie, Adil Ahmad Teli, Bazil Ahmad and Parwez Ahmed.
The selected cyclists in Men Junior are Amit Samyal, Mohmiss Ismail Wani and Mashooq Maqbool.
Om Parkash Sharma will accompany the team as Coach-cum-Manager.
