JKAACL declares result of Childrens’ Painting Competition On the Spot

JAMMU, Dec 4: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) declared the result of On the Spot Childrens’ Painting Competition at Kala Kendra, here today.
Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages while announcing the result informed that since decades, JKAACL is working hard to identify the hidden talent of the youth and providing the platform to explore their talent of painting as a medium of their expression.
In On the Spot Childrens’ Painting Competition held at Kala Kendra, a total of 43 schools participated in which more than 350 students of Infant, Junior, Senior and Amateur group of the age of 6 to 21 years took part.
In Amateur group Aziz Verma of IMFA secured first Prize of Rs 2100, the second prize of Rs 1500 was presented to Pranav Rajesh of KNIT and third prize of Rs 1200 to Divisha Jandial of IMFA.
In Senior group Radhika Khanna of MV International School, Vijaypur secured first prize of Rs 1500, second prize of Rs 1200 to Taniya Manhas of BSF Sr. Secondary School, Paloura and three equal consolation prizes of Rs 600 went to Bhoomi Dogra of GD Goenka Public school, Ishit Kour of KC Gurukul Public School and Bhumi Manhas of BSF Sr Secondary School, Paloura.
In Junior Group first prize of Rs 1050 went to Palaksha Bhat of GD Goenka Public school, second prize of Rs 825 to Anushka Verma of MHAC School Nagbani and three equal consolation prizes of Rs 450 each to Rudrakshi of G.D Goenka Public school, Arunima Bansoo of G.D Goenka Public school and Himanya of Army Public School, Kalu Chak.
In Infant group Three equal consolation prizes of Rs 750 to Parth Saarthi of Vishwabharti Sr. Sec. school, Neha of Samgharsh Vidya Kendra, Jammu and Amaira Gupta of Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School, Gandhi Nagar.
The adjudicators included Rohit Verma, Vijay Anand and Khushbu Sharma.
The theme of the painting competition was Hamara Sainik Hamari Shaan for Infants, Junior, Senior and Amateur groups which was allotted in consultation with Director, Zila Sainik Board as a part of Flag Day celebrations.
This competition was coordinated by Bishan Dass, Assistant Cultural, Divisional Office Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages under the overall supervision of Ajaz Ali Bhat, Deputy Secretary, JKAACL.
