JAMMU, Nov 6: J&K Warriors Cricket Club defeated Youth Bhaderwah Cricket Club (YBCC) by 2 wickets in a close contest of the All India T20 Cricket Tournament at MA Stadium, here today.
Winning the toss and batting first, YBCC scored a paltry total of 92 runs in the stipulated 16 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Waqar was the top scorer with 23 runs, while Sheroz, Abid and Usman contributed 20, 15 and 13 runs to the total respectively. For J&K Warriors Club, Kalu took 3 wickets, while Mushbul and Abid claimed one wicket each.
In reply, J&K Warriors Cricket Club chased the target in 15.1 overs by losing 8 wickets to win the match by 2 wickets. Abid top scored with 28 runs, while Sunny Thappa and Saleem contributed 14 and unbeaten 11 runs respectively. Waqar took 3 wickets for YBCC, while Sheroz and Manjeet claimed 2 wickets each and Burhan took one wicket.
