J&K to lead Indian Speedball in Nepal

JAMMU, June 13: India’s ace player and chief coach Sunny Nanda will guide the National Speedball team in Indo-Nepal International Speedball Championship, scheduled to be held at Nepal from June 16 to 20.
The J&K Speedball team consists of Sunny Nanda and six other players namely Chetanya students of Banyan International School, Ranhdeer Singh Rathore, Akriti Gupta and Lavisha students of SD Tara Puri High School, Shaurya Sharma of RM Public School, Abrar Choudhary of Crescent Public School, Shivam Lachiyale of Jammu Sanskriti School and Amer Kushal from Crescent Sports Club Janipur in senior team. The championship is being organised by Nepal Youth Sports Federation.
Mohd Arif Rishu (SSP Railways) said that this will be a proud moment for all of us that seven players from J&K will represent India at international level. He also appreciated the efforts of Sunny Nanda (Chief Coach of India) and also congratulated the parents of selected players for this achievement.
