JAMMU, Sept 10: J&K Senior Softball teams have been selected for the 15th Federation Cup Senior Softball Championship after screening by the Screening Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council headed by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Satpal Singh and other members of the Screening Committee at MA Stadium, Jammu.
The 15th Federation Cup Senior Softball Championship is scheduled to be held at Ghaziabad, UP from September 12 to 14. The team was screened in presence of Waseem Raja Khan, Hony. General Secretary, J&K Softball Association, Padam Dev Singh, Joint Secretary, J&K Softball Association along with some members of the association and reputed outstanding athletes of Softball sport.
Harvinder Singh is being appointed as Coach for J&K UT Senior Softball team. Siraj Ud Din has been named as Manager of the J&K Men team while Saqib Fayaz will accompany as Manager of J&K Women team.
The J&K UT team is participating in the championship under the banner of J&K Softball Association and Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. Men Team: Ajay Singh, Jasbir Singh, Anmol Singh, Pardeep Singh, Sagar Chib, Ansh Gowsami, Sanjay Kumar, Prashant Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Azan Ul Haq, Anas Hilal, Usman Bilal, Mohd Rasib, Tahir Ali, Sajad Iqbal, Mohammad Abdullah, Fazil Ahmad and Sarbjeet Singh.
Women Team: Gulshan Begum, Shaista Wani, Harleen Kour, Zainab Zahoor, Muneera Hassan, Haniya Muzaffer, Suzaina Showkat, Arbeena Mushtaq, Saniya Ashiq, Misbah Mushtaq, Saniya Tabbasum, Sunaina Gulzar, Bhomika Bandral, Kritika Sharma, Kiran Sharma and Sapna Devi.
