JAMMU, May 22: JammuT20 Tri-Series between Jammu and Kashmir State Promoters Club and Friends Cricket Club got underway at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here today.
In the first match, Promoters Club defeated Friends Cricket Club by 2 wickets.
Batting first, Friends Cricket Club scored 148 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 25 overs, Sachin top scored with 41runs, while Karan contributed 17 runs to the total. Abhinav Puri and Rhythem chipped in with 15 runs each. For Promoters Club, Vishal took 3 wickets, while Praful Dhar, Vartul Bakshi, Ramandeep, and Vishal Sharma claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, J&K Sports Promoters Club chased the target in 22 overs by losing 8 wickets, thus won the match by 2 wickets. Rajesh Gill scored unbeaten 43 runs, while Ramandeep Singh contributed valuable 31 runs. Sarthak chipped in with 19 runs.
The matches are being organized under the overall supervision of the organizing committee including Rajesh Gill, Rajesh Dhar and Sachin Singh.
