J&K shooters leave for Surendra Singh Shooting C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 29: 12-member Jammu and Kashmir team today left for participation in the 3rd Gun for Glory Shooting Competition and XVII All India Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship to be held at Pune.
The championship is being organized by the  National Association of India in which teams from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka  and  other parts of country are taking part in   .177 Air Rifle / Air Pistol and .22 rifle individual and team events.
Additional Director General of Police, Housing, Dilbag Singh alongwith other office bearers of JKRA wished the team good luck for the Competition.
The team: Sunmoon Singh (DPS Rajouri), Namandeep Singh(KC Intl School), Saumya (Army Public School Kaluchak), Divijay Singh, Tejaswi Singh (DPS Jammu),  Sangram Singh (DPS Jammu), Abhey Gupta (DPS Jammu), Shreya (Army Public School Kaluchak), Manish Kumar (APS Akhnoor), Aman Singh (Akhnoor) and Ranjit Chopra.
Rajesh Virdhi is accompanying the team as coach.
