JAMMU, Aug 20: 28-member State Roll Ball men and women team left for Surat to participate in the 16th Senior National Roll Ball Championship from August 22 to 25, 2019.
Earlier, the team was cleared by the Screening Committee of J&K State Sports Council headed by Divisional Sport Officer, Ravi Singh.
The team was selected after conducting a open trial / coaching camp held at MA Stadium under the supervision of Madhu Sharma, Sudhir Singh and Vishali Bogal.
The Championship is being held to pick the Indian team to participate in the 5th Roll Ball World Cup being held at Delhi from November 12 to 17, 2019.
The Team (Men): Hiteshwar Singh, Tarun Sharma, Bhanu Sunil Khajuria, Rakshak Jandial, Dilpreet Singh, Suresh Kumar, Akarshan Magotra, Aayush Jasrotia, Manvijay Slathia, Rishav Gupta, Prabhal Jamwal and Ritik Mahajan.
Sudhir Singh will accompany the team as coach while Rita Rehan will be the manager.
Women: Suvidha Sareen, Ruhi Rajput, Garvita Gupta, Ankita Chopra, Kavneet Kour, Khushi Gupta, Ashima Gupta, Mahima Khajuria, Shriya Gupta, Antra Mahajan, Ishita Singh and Ashray Shobna.
Madhu Sharma will accompany the team as coach and Vishali Bagal as manager.
