JAMMU, Aug 20: Six players of J&K Powerlifting team have been selected for the Senior National Powerlifting Championship to be held at Satanpelli in Andhra Pradesh from August 25 to August 29, 2018.
The team was selected by All J&K State Powerlifting Association on the basis of recently conducted J&K State Powerlifting Championship.
Before the final selection, the team underwent a screening test conducted by the J&K State Sports Council officers and officials namely Ravi Singh (Divisional Sports Officer) and Inderpal Singh (Weightlifting coach).
The team will be accompanied by Ajay Sharma as Manager and Rahul Sawhney as Coach.
The team comprises as Aditya Sharma, Bodh Raj, Ankush Sundan, Sandeep Banmotra, Ashraf and Adil Ashraf Khan. The team is leaving from Jammu on August 23, 2018.
