J&K Police holds Lonestar to goalless draw in Football

JAMMU, July 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Police team held Lonestar Football Club to a goalless draw in the Super Division match of the ongoing State League Football Tournament of J&K Football Association (JKFA), organised by the District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar at different venues.
As per the reports reaching here, both sides played aggressive game throughout but could not break the defence lines so as to get a breakthrough thereby ended the game in a goalless draw and shared the points.
In another super Division Game, Young Iqbal defeated Young Maharaja FC by one goal to nil.
Meanwhile, five matches took place in the Junior Division. At Polo Ground West, Srinagar City United held Valley United Bemina to a goalless draw. The second match won by Shariafabad FC Gangbugh FC in a one-sided contest making it 4-0. In other match, Alzahrian FC defeated NFC Peerbagh by 5-1.
