J&K Police crushes DFA Udhampur by 8-0

JAMMU, Mar 25: Jammu and Kashmir Police blanked DFA Udhampur by eight goals to nil (8-0) in a one-sided match of the ongoing 24th State Football Championship, being organized by J&K Football Association at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
The first goal was scored by Yasin Ahmed in 7th minute, the second goal was netted by Tanvir Ahmed in 10th minute, while the 3rd, 5th and 8th goals were pelted by Nainjot Singh in 17th, 31st and 62nd minutes and the 4th goal was scored by Neeraj Bahadur in 28th minute. Gulzar Ahmed scored the 6th and 7th goal in 44th and 53rd minutes respectively.
Yellow card was shown to Harmeet Singh of DFA Udhampur for foul play.
The match was officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rickey Kumar, Dil Bahadur and Amardeep Singh.
Radhey Sham Sharma, Deputy Commandant BSF Jammu was the chief guest in today’s proceedings, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Vishwa Mitter, Kuldeep Singh, Varinder Gupta, Mohan Lal, Ramesh Chander, Charan Dass, Rajesh Sumbria, Om Prakash and Narinder Gupta, chairman Press and Publicity.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Young Rovers will take on Vijay Club at 4 pm.
