SRINAGAR, Feb 4: The Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India conducted selection trials for the 2nd India International Soft Tennis Championship and 1st South Asian Soft Tennis Championship. The trials were held at Gindun Sports Stadium, Rajbagh, Srinagar, as part of the preparation for the upcoming event in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from March 16 to 25.
The selection committee, led by Raja G. N. Wani, President of the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, meticulously evaluated the players. After a rigorous selection process, four talented players were chosen to represent India at the international championships. The selected players are Basit Nabi Wani, Ubaid Hassan, Tahreem, and Mir Farah Noorani.
Mohd Iqbal, Incharge Manager of Gindun Sports Stadium, oversaw the trials and praised the participants for their dedication and performance.
