JAMMU, June 5: The Muay Thai Association of Jammu & Kashmir has expressed pride over the outstanding performance of its athletes at the 7th National UMAI Muay Thai Championship, where the J&K UT team secured multiple medals and brought laurels to the Union Territory.
The Association especially lauded para athlete Aryan Mathur, who clinched a Gold Medal, showcasing exceptional determination and skill. Other gold medal winners included Tanishika Koul, Aradhiya Sharma, Samaira Sharma and Rishav.
In the Silver Medal category, Adhivika Keshyap, Abhijyot Singh, Pranav Saini, Parnika Koul and Ankit Jeryal secured podium finishes with strong performances.
The Bronze Medal winners were Jayati, Jouryaveer Singh, Falak Koul, Marvin Chalwania, Arush Sharma, Divyansh Bagal, Dhruv Sharma, Prikshit Magotra and Sukhmani Kour, who also displayed commendable fighting spirit.
On this occasion, chief patron Sahil Aggarwal, Chairman Sanjay Bansal, President Amit Singh, Technical Director Vikas Dhar and Coach Neeraj Singh congratulated the athletes for their achievements and wished them success in future events.
The Association also announced that Vikas Dhar successfully qualified the National Referee Course, enhancing technical officiating standards in the region.
