JAMMU, Mar 5: JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School celebrated its Annual Sports day.
On the occasion, Rajan Sharma, Sports Officer was the chief guest, while Chotu Lal, Fencing Coach was the guest of honour. Mohd Ayub Sheikh, Chairman, Rajni Gupta and Sanjeev Gupta, were also present.
Vice Principal of the school Geeta Dixit presented the welcome address and highlighted the importance of sports in day-to-day life.
During the sports meet, various competitions were organized including crawling race, animal hunt, color beading, Shelling peas and chocolate race in which students participated with enthusiasm and zeal.
Students also presented colourful dance performance and lifted the mood of the event and made everyone cheer.
For parents, special races including parent child walking race, caryon race and balancing race were also organized.
The winner parents were Pooja Talwar and Megha in caryon race, whereas Raman Saini and Palak Kachroo won the balancing race.
While speaking, Rajan Sharma appreciated the well-organized and perfectly executed event.
Later, Rajan Sharma along with other dignitaries, distributed medals among the students, who excelled in various sports events.
