JAMMU, May 17: JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School held Hindi Poetry Recitation contest for the students of Grade Ist to Grade Vth in the school premises, here today.
Around 200 students took part in the contest enthusiastically and recited poems of their choice with action and rhythms.
In Grade Ist, Anshuman Bassan and Ayush Puri bagged first position, while in Grade 2nd, Aditya Sharma and Kiranjot secured first level.
From Grade 3rd, 4th and 5th, Divyansh Sharma, Akash Mahajan , Jatin Pal Singh, Sayam Malothra, Khushi Vashisht and Muhurat Gupta claimed first positions.
Geeta Dixit was the adjudicator of the contest.
Rajni Gupta, Director Academics was also present on the occasion.
Later-on, she distributed the gifts among those who bagged the positions.
