JAMMU, June 26: The young and promising Karatekas from Jammu and Kashmir, Sensei Utkarsh Bhau, Sensei Jasleen Kour and Sensei Chakshu Bhau displayed exceptional performances by winning one gold and two bronze medals in All Japan Tenshinkan Karate Meet and also successfully qualified in Shodan Black Belt Grade.
The India Tenshinkan Karate Do team was led by Koshi Hasrat Ali Khan, the chief instructor of India. The Sensei Utkarsh Bhau, Sensei Jasleen Kour and Sensei Chakshu Bhau have firstly attended the seminar and after that they go hard training at Tenshinkan Karate -Do Federation Japan which was taken by Kancho Mamoru Miwa, the World Chief Instructor Tenshinkan Karate-Do Federation Japan. Later, Kancho Mamoru Miwa awarded Shodan Grade (Black Belt) to all the players.
The players had imparted special training from Koshi Hasrat Ali Khan and Sensei Aruna Sharma (coach) before the selection for hard training at Tenshinkan Karate-Do Federation Japan.
The players received a grand welcome from Association members and their families in Jammu. Sukhbir Singh Honorary General Secretary lauded players for their exceptional skills. He said that it is a proud moment for us that youngsters from Jammu have qualified in the Shodan Black Belt Grade from World Headquarter Japan.
