SRINAGAR, Oct 14: J&K Junior Wushu team for 20th Junior National Wushu Championship has been selected during the two day trials, conducted at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh on October 12 and 13, here today.
The Junior National Championship is scheduled to be held at Jalandhar from October 20 to 25.
A total of 38 players have been shortlisted by the selection committee of the Wushu Association of J&K, while more than 150 players from the 14 districts participated during the selection trials.
Divisional Sports Officer (Kashmir) Nuzhat Ara conducted the screening of the team in the presence of Sports Officer Central Nusrat Ghazala and Manager Gindun Stadium Mushtaq Zargar.
The CEO of Wushu Association Kuldeep Handoo along with joint secretary Maqsood Rather were present during the screening.
