J&K hopeful of posing strong challenge against Goa today

SURAT, Oct 12: Confident J&K side is hopeful of posing a strong challenge against Goa in the Ranji Trophy Group C match at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium, here tomorrow.
With the inclusion of skipper Mithun Manhas who didn’t played first match against Kerala, J&K will be relying on him along with the trio of Pervez Rasool, Ian Dev Singh and Bandeep Singh in the batting department, while on the other hand Goa will heavily rely on their main batting mainstay Asnodkar in the batting department.
In the bowling department, J&K is having pacers Samiullah Beigh, Ram Dayal and Umar Nazir, who will be equally supported by spinners Pervaaz Rasool and Amir Aziz.
Goa will be dependent on left arm spinner Shadad Jakati in the bowling department.
With the pitch seemingly on slower side, toss will be crucial.
However it will be the battle of nerves all together and the team which holds its nerves better in the crunch situation will be the winner.
