J&K Golf Association condemns misuse of name

JAMMU, June 15: J&K Golf Association condemned the misuse of its name fraudulently by the persons, who are not associated with the Association.
In a handout issued, IB Singh, General Secretary, J&K Gold Association said that some persons including Sanjay Wahi, Shabir Bhar and MP Singh are using the name of the Association without any proper authorization.
“There is lot of resentment among the entire golfing fraternity of J&K about these persons, who always backstabbed the interest of the golfers of the State”, Singh said, adding that on record no election was conducted recently and there is no information with the Association about the elections.
On behalf of Association, Singh warned Rajan Sharma from Sports Council and others to desist from such activities. He also demanded inquiry into the matter.
