SRINAGAR, June 11: J&K Forest thrashed Kashmir Mughals by six goals to one (6-1), while Syed Tajuddin Football Club held Alfath FC to a goalless draw in the Super Division and ‘A’ Division Football League Tournaments respectively, being organized by J&K Football Association, DFA Srinagar, here.
In Super Division match, J&K Forest defeated Kashmir Mughals in an easy contest by (6-1). Though, the first goal was scored By Kashmir Mughals through Tabish in 6th minute of the match, yet J&K Forest players came back strongly to score back to back goals and registered a big win. Touseef Ahmed scored 3 goals for Forest team in 11th, 31st and 56th minute of the match, while Naseer, Ubaid and Anus Gill netted the goals in 21st, 43rd and 89th minutes respectively.
In ‘A’ Division match, Syed Tajuddin FC held Alfath FC to a tame goalless draw. Despite many moves made by both the teams in both halves of the game, none of the teams succeeded in scoring goals.
