JAMMU, Apr 28: Defeating formidable side of Tamil Nadu by (15-7) in the title clash, Jammu and Kashmir clinched Under-17 boys sabre team gold in the 59th National School Games in the discipline of Fencing, being organized by Government of Maharashtra, under the auspices of School Games Federation of India (SGFI) at Jalna in Maharashtra.
The Jammu and Kashmir sabre team included Vansh Gupta, Rakshit, Rafiq and Uranish, who participated in the event under the supervision of their coach, Ujjwal Gupta, International Fencer.
Jammu and Kashmir also won Under-19 boys sabre team silver by losing to Punjab in a thrilling contest by (15-14) in the summit clash.
