J&K drubs Jharkhand in Youth National Volleyball

JAMMU, June 3: Jammu and Kashmir defeated Jharkhand in opening group match in the 21st Youth National Volleyball Championship underway at Jhunjhunu, Chirawa in Rajasthan.
As per the reports reaching here, J&K made it a close 3-2 win in best of five game with set score of 16-25, 25-18, 29-27, 11-25, 15-11.
Earlier, Abhishek Bhardwaj, Rajan Singh and Sourav Sharma remained in limelight for their superb display of spikes and blocks thus helped the side to win against Jharkhand.
Placed in group-A, J&K will now meet opponents from Rajasthan, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra in the next outings.
