JAMMU, Jan 11: Jammu and Kashmir Dance Sports Council excelled in All India Dance Sports Festival (AIDSF) 2020 by clinching 24 Gold, 6 Silver and one Bronze medals.
The dance festival was organised at Ravindra Bhawan, Asonsol West Bangal wherein 60 dancers of Jammu and Kashmir participated.
In Junior category, the trio of Harikaa Jyotshi, Priyankush and Harshika Gupta won Silver medal while Angana Kohli and Avaapya Kak clinched Silver medal.
The V J Dance Group won silver medal in Western Junior category while Vidhaan Mahajan, Aryaveer and Ritesh clinched gold medal each and Alisha Malhotra bagged Bronze medal.
Hemshikha and Manit from Udhampur district clinched gold in semi classical and Indian Bollywood respectively.
In Senior category, Rajan Sharma from Rajouri won Gold in Semi classical, Mitali from Sunderbani bagged Gold in free style while Aniket won Gold in contemporary dance.
Pranav and Paarth Pandita from Udhampur won gold in duet dance category while Manik Kapoor from Katra clinched Gold in free style and Samba clinched Gold.
General Secretary of J&K Dance Sports Council, Gurvinder Kour congratulated all the participants.
