J&K contingent leaves for Power-20 Cricket C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 15: Sixteen members contingent of young cricketers from Jammu and Kashmir has left for Kashipur, Utrakhand to participate in the National Level ‘Power-20 Cricket Championship’ being organized by Sports Authority of India.
The team was flagged off by RS Chib, Former Minister in presence of Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, president J&K Power-20 Cricket Association, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, chief patron and a renowned Golfer, Nitin Jamwal and Kunal Chib, president Power Lifting Association, J&K.
Ajay Sharma is accompanying the team as coach and the other members are Arin Sharma, Irfan Choudhary, Tarandeep Singh, Jayadev Singh, Arjun Singh, Raghav Gupta, Rahul Kumar, Sahil, Shahban Malik, Keshav Sharma, Akardan, Fahim Mirza, Rishab Pangotra and Diksan
Mr Chib while wishing the team a great success in the Tournament said that it is important for every young boy and girl to participate in the sports activities along with their normal academic studies.
