SRINAGAR, Oct 6: J&K Bank Football Club thrashed J&K Power Development Corporation (PDC) Football Team by solitary goal in the ongoing J&K Bank Annual League Football Tournament at Polo ground, here.
Skipper Rizwan Shiekh scored the solitary goal after Aman Thapa’s long range shot was rebounded by the PDC goalkeeper and Rizwan made no mistake to convert it in the 22nd minute of the game.
First half of the game was completely dominated by the Bank team by making maximum possession of the ball but were unable to score more.
In the second half, PDC came up with some strong moves and tried for the equalizer but couldn’t find the nets.
Till the end of the match score remained the same and thus JK Bank FC grabbed all 3 points out of this game.
Standing at top in the table with 9 out of 9 points, JK Bank FC have two more pool matches to play against JK Forest and Iqbal Sports.
