JK Bank drubs Forest to meet JKPDC in finals

JAMMU, Dec 13: Strong Jammu and Kashmir Bank team defeated almost equally balanced Jammu and Kashmir Forest team by two goals to nil (2-0) in the semifinals to enter the finals of the ongoing 4th Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organized by Youth National Conference, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
Now, JK Bank will take on JKPDC in the summit clash, the date for which will be conveyed soon.
Ashique Mushtaq of JK Forest scored a self goal in 66th minute, while Johney Kumar of JK Bank netted another goal in 76th minute to help JK Bank win by a margin of two goals.
Though, players of JK Forest tried many moves but in vain as they failed to beat the defence of JK Bank players and tactics and ploy applied by them.
Yellow cards were shown to Zubair, Azikol and Aman Thappa, while Red cards were shown to Rohit Kumar of JK Bank and Nasir of JK Forest.
