Jammu Gold Cup Football Tourney

JAMMU, July 27: The 3rd Late Mehar Singh Memorial Jammu Gold Cup Under-20 Football Tournament commenced today, organized by Young Hero Football Club and Baba Football Club in association with the Working Committee DFA Jammu and J&K Sports Council.
In the opening match, J&K Bank Academy defeated Nagrota F-C with a score of 3-1. J&K Bank Academy’s goals were scored by Paras, who netted once, and Tarun, who added two more. Nagrota F-C’s single goal came from Saksham Jamwal.
The opening ceremony featured chief guests Prabhat Singh, Treasurer of BJP, and Rajesh Sumbriya. The match was officiated by referees Rockey Sharma, Aman, Ricky Kumar and Dheeraj.
