JAMMU, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir were 128/7 against Baroda at stumps on Day-2 of the rain-hit match in the ongoing Cooch Behar U-19 Trophy, being played at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, Baroda skipper KT Marathe won the toss and put Jammu and Kashmir into bat.
Batting first, Jammu and Kashmir rode on Dikshant Kundal’s (55) and Sampark Gupta’s unbeaten 47 runs to score 128/7 in 51 overs game today, after the entire first day’s play was washed out yesterday. Except skipper Kanhaiya Wadhawan’s (14), none of the other Jammu and Kashmir batsmen could reach the double figure mark. From Jharkhand, right-arm off-spinner, Mahesh Pithiya was the pick of the bowlers, who created havoc by capturing all the 7 wickets to fall.
