JAMMU, Oct 25: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organised Inter-School Debate competition on the theme ‘Is Abrogation of Article 370 a boon or bane?”,
The English Debate under the banner of Sahodhya commenced in the benign presence of Nirmal Mahana, President Sahodaya School Complex, Nishikant Khajuria (Special Correspondent Daily Excelsior), Khushboo Mattoo (Programming Head Radio Mirchi), eminent Teachers from different schools, Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu ) and Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school).
28 schools participated with exuberance in this debate and in midst of cut throat competition Presentation Convent bagged the first prize, Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu secured second prize and SOS Hermann Gmeiner School secured third prize. APS Jammu Cantt & Model Academy fetched Consolation Prizes. Ritesh from Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua was declared as the best speaker of the day.
Congratu-lating the winners and their mentors, Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson asserted that contentment is easier to attain than happiness and success is where preparation and opportunity meet, so let’s not be contented with victory and not be disheartened with failure.
