JAMMU, Dec 24: Srinagar Queens will take on Jammu Princess in the finals of the ongoing Chief Minister’s T20 Premier League, being jointly organized by J&K Police HG/CD/SDRF and State Sports Council at Parade ground, here.
Earlier in the first semi final Srinagar Queens defeated Delhi Angels by 9 wickets. Batting first Delhi Angels scored 64 runs for all wickets in 17.5 overs with Priyanka 21 and Tanisha 10. From bowling side Jessy and Sandhya shared 3 wickets, while Bushra took 2 wickets.
In reply, Srinagar Queens chased the target for the loss of 1 wicket with Jasia 48 and Bushra 13, thus won the match by 9 wickets. From bowling side, Reena took the only wicket. Shathira Jakir Jesy was adjudged as the woman of the match.
In another match, Jammu Princess defeated Punjab Birds by 8 wickets. Batting first, Punjab Birds scored 39 for the loss of all wickets in 9.3 overs with Neelam 17 and Suhali 12. From Bowling side, Sarla and Rubina shared 2 wickets each while Nadia took 1 wicket. Jammu Princess chased the target in 7.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Koushalaya 23 and Anju 7 were the main scorers. From bowling side Neelam and Radha shared 1 wicket. Sarla was declared as the woman of the match.
Meenakshi Kilam Registrar Jammu University was the chief guest and Pradeep Dutta was the guest of honour.
